My name is Shawn Shepherd and I am delighted to welcome you to the Hifi Guide. I started the Hifi Guide having been an audio lover and enthusiast for over 16 years, and being disappointed with the lack of honest, in-depth information available when searching for audio equipment. My interest in audio stemmed from my Dad, who was an audio technician my whole life. It was this that inspired me to complete my Master’s Degree in Sound Engineering and now to pursue my Ph.D.
It is a combination of my own experience and my professional knowledge which has led me to share my passion here on this website. I hope you find what you’re looking for and get as much enjoyment from reading these articles as I do from writing them!
